Q & A

We will be updating this page as we go with any information we think will help you all! Please check back occasionally to see any updates.

Can I bring a wedding guest?

Our dream is to get married on the beach. Unfortunately, that means we are working with a very limited capacity and can only accommodate a smaller number of guests for our ceremony. Your Invitation will be made out to “{Your Name} & {Guest Name}” if a plus one has been given to you. Reach out to Ali & Matt if you are unsure.

Are kids invited?

We hope you understand that as much as we’d love to have you and your whole family, your kids are only invited if named on the invitation. Your Invitation will be made out to “The {Your Last Name} Family” if your children have been invited, or “{Your Name} & {Your Partner’s Name}” if only you and your significant other have been invited. Reach out to Ali & Matt if you are unsure.

When should we arrive?

The ceremony and reception will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024. We will be celebrating throughout the week (see timeline under “Wedding” page). We understand everyone lives very busy lives and may not be able to come to Cabo for the full week, so please book your travels and plans to suit your needs.

When should I RSVP?

If you have not done so already - the window has closed!

Me and my family/significant other were both sent the invitation, should we both fill out the RSVP?

As long as one of you fills out the RSVP with everyone’s names, that works for us! We will be eagerly tracking responses as they come in so no problem if they are sent multiple times.

Do I need a passport?

Yes!! Please triple check the expiry on your passport to ensure you’re travel ready as a passport is required for travel to Mexico. Processing times can vary, so we suggest renewing/applying early.

What currency do they use in Los Cabos?

The peso is Mexico's national currency, though many places in Los Cabos accept U.S. dollars for convenience. Major credit cards are also accepted in most establishments. We recommend brining cash in a mix of pesos and U.S. dollars.

Can I drink the water in Mexico?

As a rule of thumb, you should stick to bottled or purified water in Mexico. All of the restaurants and hotels only serve purified water and YES, the ice is safe. The key to good health when traveling ANYWHERE is hydration and sunscreen. For more information, visit: here.

What should I wear?

Visit our What To Pack page for outfit inspo and a packing list. Both the ceremony and reception will take place outside. The ceremony will take place on the beach and the cocktail hour & dinner will be on a lawn. It is Cabo so it will be hot during the ceremony! We recommend wearing light and breathable, yet stylish attire. Ladies, wedges and sandals are a good option!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

The Wedding Ceremony will take place on the beach at the Chileno Bay Club (Resident Side). After the Ceremony, we will transport you to the reception which will be held at La Huerta, Chileno Bay’s Farm to Table Venue by the golf course. See Our Schedule and Transportation pages for more info.

What if I want to get my hair and makeup done?

Most of the Hotels will offer hair and make-up services on-site. Feel free to contact their Concierge team for further assistance.

Does Los Cabos have Uber?

Yes, there are Ubers available, but please be aware that the cars they drive are much smaller than the ones back home and they do not have UBER XL as of yet. So please take this into consideration if more than 3 people are in your party. We recommend to book transportation through Impala from Airport to Hotel as we do not recommend Uber service for the airport. See Transportation Page to contact our preferred driver Cheke Luxury.

Do we have a Registry?

We have had the best year celebrating our engagement with you all, and the fun is just beginning! We can't wait to meet you all in Cabo to witness our marriage. We want to stress that there is ZERO expectation for any of you to spend any money on wedding gifts (we understand a destination wedding is a financial commitment and your presence is truly the best present we could ask for). We have been encouraged to create a registry regardless but do not feel obligated to use it. It can be found Here.

If you would like to bring a card, you can bring it to the Welcome Parties, or our amazing wedding planner will help collect these on the wedding day and keep them safe for us to look at the next day. :)
